The speaker started doing a clicking sound every time it is turned on. It goes away after a while but it becomes an annoyance especially if you need to use it immediately.
To fix this, you need to replace the bad capacitor C125 by Fujicon. Mark orientation accordingly as capacitors have polarity. The grey colour side should be facing opposite the aluminium slab.
What you need is a radial capacitor that is 4.7uF 25V 85°C. Look for the Rubycon brand if you can.
I found this Panasonic 4.7 uF 25V 85C capacitor in Farnell for about $1.42 for 5 pieces though you only need one.

I was having this same problem, the clicking sound, but when I went and removed the cap, it says 47uF not 4.7uF, I just wanted to confirm that it’s 4.7uF and not 47uF
I’m sure but you can check the link of the item that I actually ordered to replace the cap and it worked for me.
Guys, this post pretty much has it right. I just tried swapping out the capacitor at C125 and my Mako is back from the dead. Just wanted to update the thread in case others were doubtful whether this fix works or not.
My problem was that the speakers would basically reset very briefly anytime the sub was supposed to fire. Not the typically “popping/ticking” complaint I’ve heard about from others. I still tried the fix and things seem to be back to normal.
Regarding the type of capacitor: go to an electronics parts store and buy a 4.7uF 25V radial capacitor. I bought a pack of 5 for $1.25 CDN. Use a soldering iron to swap out the capacitor at C125 with a new one and make sure you get the polarity right (grey side is negative)!
One last thing to mention is that some of the factor soldering joints are poor, so use some extra solder to touch up anything that looks weak, incomplete, etc. Good luck!
it does say 47 uf for mine also so thats what i changed it to. i heard the more uf the better lol it relates to the size of the cap it seems
